MA.STRUM'S HISTORY: A BRAND BUILT ON INNOVATION
MA.STRUM was founded in 2008 as a collaborative venture with the Massimo Osti Archive — the creative legacy of the legendary designer behind Stone Island, C.P. Company, Boneville and Left Hand.
Osti revolutionised menswear by pioneering garment dyeing techniques, experimenting with fabric technologies, and merging utility with style before “technical clothing” even existed as a category. Although he passed away in 2005, the Archive continues to preserve and influence his work — and MA.STRUM exists as a continuation of that spirit.
Today, MA.STRUM operates as a proudly independent British menswear brand, dedicated to the pursuit of textile innovation and utilitarian design.
FROM THE ARCHIVE TO THE TERRACES
Inspired by Osti's relentless experimentation, MA.STRUM built its early identity around performance-driven outerwear — combining functionality, military reference points and technical fabric engineering.

THE MODERN ERA – LED BY JOHN SHARP
In 2014, John Sharp, the entrepreneur behind the revival of Boneville, took ownership of MA.STRUM and ushered in a new chapter. Under his guidance, the brand has continued to evolve while staying true to its heritage with British craftsmanship with innovation inspired by Italian design and technical manufacturing.
Laser-cut fabrics, heat-sealed seams, ergonomic tailoring and premium wool blends are now core to the collection, proving that MA.STRUM is still pushing boundaries in performance apparel.
